Karen Tracey features as a panellist at the Women Elevating Women Virtual Business Conference.

Women Elevating Women (W.E.W.) is a business conference providing a platform where all women, who are executives and entrepreneurs, can come together to openly share and to learn from each other. W.E.W. is building a community where women want to elevate each other in their careers.

W.E.W. conferences are designed around the 5 pillars of success determined by founder and Women Presidents’ Organisation Chair and colleague Betty Hines. These are Courage, Connection, Collaboration, Communication & Cultivate.

I was invited to participate and contribute insights and thinking on the Cultivate Pillar of the November 2020 conference. I shared insights on this panel that referred to cultivating talent in business. I talked about my experience working with and helping entrepreneurs and businesses when focusing on their own plans for developing others and themselves. I talked about the benefits of being out of your comfort zone, the duty of being a role model and how coaching and mentoring is a fundamental part of cultivating talent within leadership.

I was joined by high achieving, like-minded individuals from across the globe on the panel as they addressed future executives and entrepreneurs in the audience. The session went towards providing insights, experience and advice in order to counsel tomorrow’s thought leaders and cultivate positive behaviours in them and to look at these in conjunction with the other four pillars, sharing what steps they may take to achieve their professional goals.

I was delighted to have been involved in such a well organised and fantastic, global conference with so many colleagues from across the world. It was wonderful to hear and share such insightful content and to meet so many amazing, inspirational people as well.
